Zanoni "Campo Denari" Valpolicella Superiore DOC 2009

  • Our rating: Very Good

  • Price at the winery: €12.50
  • Alcohol: 14.5%

Have we a new trend in Valpolicella? Some more small producers are putting emphasis on Valpolicella Superiore. Here we have a small Cru on calcareous soils with basaltic stones. Part of grapes are slightly dried for 30 days. Longer than standard is the aging period: 18 months in barriques and 18 months more in bottle. Salty and rich of good acidity. Great Valpolicella Superiore!
