Thursday “Rare & Unusual” Masterclasses
Hotel Suisse Majestic – Four Seasons Ballroom
Thursday 30/10/2014
15:15 – 16:30 Masterclass 2
Terroir Amarone, a different approach to Valpolicella
Sponsored by: Terroir Amarone
Valpolicella is a 240 sq.km wine region that surrounds Verona (West to East), with 12 different valleys, 3 main areas with 4 different appellations and dozens of Crus. How many Valpolicella brands do you know? Ten, fifteen? More than 200 producers make wine there, and most of them are unknown to the great public. In this tasting you will have a rare opportunity to taste a selection of those wines, usually available only locally: the famous, powerful Amarone della Valpolicella and the fresher yet elegant Valpolicella Superiore. They are examples of a country where the origins make a great difference.
Speakers:
Elisabetta Tosi, blogger and freelance journalist
Giampiero Nadali, information technology expert and marketer
